A fun workshop exploring a myriad of ways to work with your favourite funky fruit as inspiration – think pomegranate, dragon fruit, figs and kiwis….no boring bananas for this workshop! Be amazed at what you can do with just one thing while exploring a range of techniques and media.

In addition to being one of your five-a-day, the humble fruit can be the starting point for printing, painting, pattern and much more. We will observe it, dissect it, peel it and push it to its fruity limits! Covering a variety of techniques and approaches we will create a collection of images that can be made into a simple book or used in their own right as cards and wall art. We will look at mandalas, printed designs, paint techniques and combining media, as well as making a super-easy concertina or circular book.

Join us for a light-hearted look at fabulous fruit and see what you can squeeze out of them! Absolutely no experience needed for this fun and informal workshop…..just grab yourself something from the fruit bowl and have a play!
